Ship Canal Trip (Sat, May 29)

Filed under: Day Trips — tomlarkin @ 10:31 am

Meryll, Ross, and I went down the lake to the Montlake Cut, across Lake Union, and down the Ship Canal to Ballard. On the way back we stopped at the Center for Wooden Boats and looked around. Ross took all of these pictures.

A lovely day for an outing…

Stopped at Ivar’s Salmon House for a salmon lunch. Thanks Ross! That’s I-5 above, and the Montlake bridge in the background.

It was another in a long string of gray, blustery days, but the Ducks were out in force…

We nested up to some real  tugboats to see if we fit in. Nice color match anyway!
